The Filmmaker

I made my first short films and television "pilots" in sixth grade. Yes, they were terrible, but since then they've gotten marginally better. In college I made three feature films and a few shorts as well. Currently I'm slugging it out in LA, producing a series of short films called "The Dingbat Comedies".

This is what I do. Everything else is just a step to making a movie. If I'm working as an actor or editor or writer, it is because in some way it will help me make another movie.

Since I usually star in my own movies, my style is customized to suit me best. I am confident in master shots, and shy away from getting coverage because I believe actors are at their best when unrestrained.

But more over I am not a technical filmmaker. My interest is not in getting a great depth of field or craaazy dolly shot wazooo. I'm interested in how humans behave, and the comedy of it. The best artists are interested in life more than their art.

Occasionally people have asked me to write or direct their film. If you are one such person, holla at me.
